Yeah less games coming out and being altered from their original intended state is great. Cool stuff. Japanese developers being afraid to put out games, serves 'em right I say. This is totally where to make a stand guys. Here at the video game frontier. This way all those people that decided not to buy Xenoblade because of it's character slider customization can buy it after all. No slider or creepy costumes! Yup that will totally make all those people not buying it buy it now. Shifting markets say so. It's too bad Atlus didn't wise up with Catherine. They should have censored the hell out of that, would have sold better. What a bunch of clowns. And with this sexism in the video game industry is solved.
Skyward Sword had Link 'n Zelda romance. Albeit very Disney type romance but they were totally a thing in that game. There's a ton wrong with Skyward Sword but the story stuff was cool man.
Also the only good Valkyria Chronicles is the first one. With every iteration they added more and more pandering anime garbage effectively making the characters more annoying than entertaining. The core game itself was fine but they also added super grindy class and weapon upgrade systems to hinder any sort of fun. They repeated the same maps over and over which staled strategy and variety. I love the first game, but the games that followed bummed me out man.
