Alex has stealth-become my favorite GB staff member. I'm not sure If I just didn't give him enough credit before or if he's grown a lot in his views on games and in his ability to communicate them over the last couple years. Either way bravo, @alex. You were by far the most effective and respectful debater this year. On top of that, our opinions on and taste in games seem to line up pretty well, so that's a plus.
Don't know why, but Drew leaving has put me in a very nostalgic mood. I grew up with this website. In 2008, at 17 years old, this site began right when I was beginning to become the person I am today. It's hard to put into words what the GB guys have meant to me over the years. They've gotten me through some tough times, and they've been there when things were at their best. I can pretty much track every major phase my life from 2008 until now based on what was happening with the Bombcast crew. Anyway, It's nice to go back to the start.

Yes! Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town is one of my favorite games of all time, but I haven't really been into any of the Harvest Moon games since then. This looks like a spiritual successor to that era of Harvest Moon. Definitely a buy for me!
