I doubt we will see a written review for this, they really don't do them anymore.
Brad did a long QL, Rorie played in in a stream, both podcasts talked about it at length. Everyone seems to be lukewarm or disliking it noting the lackluster story, wrong direction in tone and the over-complication of the solid combat from 2016.
I'm sure we'll hear bits of it trickling in the next few podcasts, but if no one is crazy about it they're not gonna waste their time if they don't like it. I mean Death Stranding talk came and went like a flash of lightning.
Just today an issue has started when a video is in full screen mode it plays for a bit, but then the image freezes but the audio is still going on. Sometimes it resumes after 10 seconds, most times it doesn't.
Watching it minimized is better, but it will freeze for 5 seconds here and there and resume.
Surprised to see this, but kind of not. For a while the site has been focusing too much on the comic TV show universe. While I do like the shows, I'm one who waits for a whole season to be on Netflix so I don't want to listen week to week about a show if I'm waiting. They cut back on comic reviews a lot too which I enjoyed reading. The podcast still had a lot of comic book talk, but it became harder to easily see opinions on ongoing comics and what series existed if you needed to scrub through a podcast or there were no somewhat consistent reviews.
Just kinda seemed like GameSpot heads wanted CV to be their geek culture site that covered all the Marvel/DC movies and TV shows.
Not sure if this was mentioned, but when watching videos sometimes it randomly skips ahead a second or so throughout. It doesn't happen everytime I watch a video, but it seems to happen more on longer ones.
They'll need to add a lot more to this to get me to play this for more than a few weeks. Its fun, but I feel like it won't last too long with what is in the game right now.
Man, I love randomly looking at his tweet where he ripped the writer of Borderlands 2 a new one!
Sure we have hundreds of hours here of him, but he surely was the king of Twitter! His wife is apart of the twitter convo but her account is blocked to non followers. From what it looks like by people replying her it doesn't seem like it was her.
