Morrowind with Oblivion graphics!

I got pretty excited when I read this on kotaku today. A mod called

Morroblivion in action
Morroblivion in action
Morroblivion makes it possible to import the Morrowind files straight into Oblivion. I've been thinking about going back and testing Morrowind several times but in the end I've always found some excuse not to. With the graphics of Oblivion I  feel ready to finally start playing it.

You'll need Oblivion patched to 1.2, Morrowind with Tribunal and Bloodmoon and the mod files of course. Morrowind is pretty cheap these days so I need to get a hold of a copy. Gonna update the morrowind page with this news too!

The mod files can be downloaded at: morroblivion.com

Imagine saving survivors in your own city

So yet another PSN game was announced on the Playstation Blog today. I must admit that their dedication for new and fresh ideas getting released on the PSN is pretty impressive. The story revolves around a purple ray hitting earth and turning anyone touched into zombies or monsters (Oh noes). Your objective is to guide the survivors to safety.

Survivors+escape zone=win

But the fresh thing about is that the actual enviroments are real life cities like Tokyo and Los Angeles. My immediate reaction to this was that something cool but somewhat impossible would be for people to be able to make a level of their own city or village and upload it to the game. And then be able to watch an entire globe cluttered with content that people have created. Of course this isn't possible because there aren't high res pictures of the entire earth at this point. But maybe sometime in the future there will be a game that takes advantage of a persons location, that would be pretty badass.
