So disappointing how this very feature is so broken in the UK.

Edit: Have no idea how to post a gif on here properly, but this and KOF finals were probably my highlights.

Final falls on my birthday, I cannot wait. If its anything like the Italy vs Spain match earlier in the tournament it should be fantastic.

Think Spain may edge it though.

Here's a video with some good beginner's tips. Also, you'll probably want to install some mods to get the game working a bit better (UFO Extender and XcomUtil). Also, I am shit awful at it.

Fifa 2012 is £25 on the UK Origin store but $20 on the US one. I really wish they had greater price parity between regions like steam do, and to be a bit cynical, it just seems as if the price is higher here because it's where it would be most popular.

Just had to get that off my chest...

@FancySoapsMan said:

if you've never watched The Wire or Breaking Bad, then you should go watch those now. also check out Party Down. There's only 20 eps so it shouldn't take you long to watch it all.

Agreed. All of Party Down is on youtube rather fortunately:

There's a book called 'Flat Earth News' by journalist Nick Davies (the one who worked for the Guardian to reveal phone hacking) and one of the main concepts introduced in the book is that of 'churnalism': rewriting press releases or generic articles provided to them by wire organisations such as Reuters, adding very little further information or further investigation. Its a great book, quite revelatory yet depressing. I certainly think that games journalism is composed almost entirely of 'churnalism' sadly, and with so much money involved and pressure placed on journalists, I don't see the situation improving.
