Dan, cops don't typically shoot unarmed people who are surrendering. I know you like 'cool guy' action movies but 24 and The Rock are not representative of the criminal justice process; there's a reason why Hot Fuzz satirizes those genres and also has cop paper work and few actual casualties even in the big shootout.
Another year, another quick look where the wrestling fans make incorrect statements about the controls of a wrestling game and write it off entirely. Righteous.
@donchipotle: How would you like to survive longer on that hill? For only $19.99 (best value) you can unlock 7000 hill survivor credits to buy upgrades to defend your hill with.
No thanks, I've been dying on hills for over twenty years, I know how to get by.
I'm okay with microtransactions. This will be my hill to die on. I don't understand the issue and why people are being all "Fuck this optional shit".
First of all, you are paying to skip parts of the game. that means the developers themselves don't even consider their game worth playing.
Second, you know that the game will be tuned to incentive you to buy microtransactions. From what we heard of shadows of war, you have to either grind your ass off, or buy microtransations to unlock the true ending. That is a major fucking issue.
First, no that doesn't mean the developers don't consider their game worth playing. You're making wild assumptions. Not everyone has time and the option to expedite some more potentially annoying aspects of a game is a valid option. It's not like the game is incentivizing you to the same extent as a shady, shitty mobile game. Unless you were on the dev team you can't make this claim, especially when signs point to the publisher throwing their weight around about it.
Second, no I DON'T know that. Many games with microtransactions don't incentivize you to buy them. Other games it's just cosmetic shit that doesn't impact the game at all. Micro-transactions are this gen's version of 'WHY ISN'T DAY ONE DLC ON THE DISC WHAA WHAA WHAA'. From what I've heard, the 'true ending' is not a 'true ending' at all since the game reaches its climax and ending BEFORE all that happens and the act four shit is like a cherry for people that want to keep playing with the various systems - something that the first game could've absolutely used.
Just because you CAN buy something to make a game easier doesn't mean you HAVE to and boycotting the game over something totally optional is baffling. If the game is good and has microtransactions, the game doesn't become bad because of it. If the game is bad and has microtransactions, the game isn't bad BECAUSE of them. A game can be good and have micro-transactions.
