@hansolol: Beth seems a bit better since when I last watched, her commentary hasn't bothered me as much anyway. Wade Barrett's voice alone makes most things he says more entertaining than they probably are, but it also seems he's in a slightly higher position where he is allowed to more free reign in what he says
Decided to get back into NXT the past few weeks since I watched it for the first time since the pandemic started with Vengeance Day and thought that show was awesome.
I think if you watch NXT completely out of context with no story or character stuff at all it's probably the greatest wrestling show on planet earth. Problem is NXT storylines and characters have never been dumber. It's nearing main roster levels at times, even though its still 10x more appealing. Johnny Gargano as a comedy heel doesn't work, this weird Xia Li stuff is like a parody of Lucha Underground without understanding LU was almost always tongue-in-cheek which is why it was fun, and the only things that seem to matter are whatever Adam Cole is doing. Even Finn takes a back seat. There's just no heart to this show at all anymore, I can't invest in anything because these characters are so unlikable.
And after watching AEW pretty consistently since it started, I can't fuck with these overly scripted promos anymore. They are painful. I just skip most promos at this point. Can't stand these robotic people reading these things no human on earth would ever say.
Cameron Grimes is a modern legend however. Can't wait to see how they screw that up.
The thing that sucks is that FE1 would have been a day one buy without this shit, but I felt so bad about supporting this I waited until like last week. Not for of fear of missing but mainly because I realized voting with your wallet doesn't seem to actually work that well and yelling at them on social media enmass doesn't seem to work and because we live in a society that's all the options we have.
You know Mario, people would emulate your old games less if you made them more easily accessible yourselves you fucking dinosaurs, not putting them up for sale and then literally taking them away. People aren't that god damn stupid, they know what you're doing.

Its just so fucked up. Two really fucked up wrestling deaths of by all accounts two unanimously well loved people within almost a week.
Back 4 or so? years ago, when she was first coming on the scene, even in her first matches there was something that radiated from her that made basically everyone who saw her say "yeah she's gonna be a star, she is absolutely the future." It was a joy to watch her evolve herself with character changes and in ring improvements every year that showed off her creativity and charisma more and more each time.
Last year when she got her own stable and got picked to wrestle at the Tokyo Dome, it was obvious they had huge plans for her which was later confirmed. It hurts to know what would have been a fantastic career was cut off before it started. Rest in peace Hana.
