Swiss army man - It's hard to believe that a movie about a farting boner corpse could be so emotionally resonating, but here we are. It was funny, touching and very intelligent when it came to its subject matter. Also, the acapella soundtrack is ridiculous. 4 corpse boners out of 5.

Night of the Creeps - A super silly, super corny throwback to 50's shlock with Revenge of the Nerds smeared all over it. It's a fun, goofy horror movie and you don't see a lot of horror movies like it now-a-days. It's no Night of the Comet or Return of the Living Dead though. For what it is though it's worth a watch. 3 exploding zombie brain slugs out of 5.

Rainy Dog - An early Takashi Miike film that shows him a little more restrained, but some of his craziness coming through. You can see his crazy roots starting to take hold. It also reminded me of Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia in that the movie decides to take a brake during the middle act and just kind of meander around a bit before picking the story back up. It's been a while since I've seen Alfredo Garcia so I could totally be remembering it wrong though. Anyways, it's a solid early film in his oeuvre of crazy shit. 3 buried mopeds out of 5.

Psychonauts has a crazy spike in difficulty at the last level. I can't believe it was never toned down because it feels so different from the rest of the game.

I was about to say that I've never rage quit a game, but then I remembered the last level of Psychonauts.....fuck.

I'm currently playing 4 Resident Evil games concurrently (Resident Evil Remaster, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil 7) because I'm an idiot, and I can say with much confidence that Resident Evil 4 is still fucking rad. On a side note, Resident Evil 2 is also still fucking rad, and 7 is pretty alright too.

@hunkulese: Eh, it had it's moments but overall, it was just another Royal Rumble with a not great finish. The only reason we're not rioting over Orton winning is because Reigns was the other option.

As always though, it all comes down to personal opinion, I guess.

@butler: Have you seen Sonatine? If you like Takeshi Kitano, you'll probably really enjoy it. One of my favorite yakuza movies. If you want something more on the bizarre side, there is always a million different Takashi Miike movies out there to check out.

@uhtaree: Music has the Right to Children always reminds me of real vague memories of watching BBC nature documentaries as a kid in the 80's, or of going to the library at night and looking through books on dinosaurs or sea-life. It's so weird how their music makes you so nostalgic for weird things that you only have vague memories of, or things that didn't have a real impact on you but stick with you, like catching an image of something on the TV for only a split second but that image stays with you forever. I love it.

I could easily listen to Roygbiv by Boards of Canada on a loop for the rest of my life. Actually I could probably do that with any of their stuff. They're my favoritist band, you see.

I don't know about the cast but I would definitely get Alex Garland to write and direct a reboot. He would probably bring a depressing amount of ennui and existential distress to the project, but Ex Machina was fantastic and from most accounts he might as well have directed Dredd so he can probably do action.

With that said, please don't reboot The Matrix, Hollywood.
