I have it. I like the xbox 360 style, but I only use it for nonshooting games because of the dead zones. i don't really like the size but that's because I have small hands, seems like it would fit larger hands more comfortably. the triggers are nice though

haha so true, unfortunately.. I actually just want to play as sonic, not as his million different friends.

" If you get another used one through the GameStop warranty it shouldn't cost you anything. That said, when you buy a used system from GameStop you are buying someone else's broken junk that GameStop "refurbished" to fix the initial problem, but God only knows what else is wrong  with it or will go wrong with it. That said, I would buy a new one since I learned last time I went in to exchange my refurbished GameStop PS2 that the warranty is useless, because they won't let you exchange it if they don't have a system in the back that is the exact same SKU. I had to drive all the way across town to another GameStop to make good on the warrany, because they had a refurbished one with the exact same SKU there, which was bullshit. "
that sucks, yeah I'm sick of driving over to that same gamestop and keep having to exchange it. they gave me a controller with a left analog stick that is completely loose too.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards that but I'm iffy about spending that $100 or so on getting a new one. it wouldnt be a problem if it wasnt such a mistake buying a used one in the first place.. i spent $60 on it I think, plus the $10 warranty.

I had a near launch ps2 that lasted me up until '08 sometime. when that broke down i got a used one with a warranty from gamestop. I must have really bad luck, or gamestop only gives me sucky ps2s.   i'm now on my 3rd one, after they all stopped reading some of my discs after about a month each. it's pissing me off that i keep having to go back there, and i'm thinking about just buying a new ps2 slim. Should I try and clean the laser and try and fix it, try and get another used one through the warranty, or go ahead and buy a new slim?

Edit: Where's the cheapest place to buy a new slim ps2?
