wow. I'm surprised to see that some people went through so many systems. I'm glad to say that mine is still working great since I got it around the original release date. Same goes for my PS3. I hope I don't jinx myself, but if it does die I would get another one without hesitation.

I just returned it back to Game Stop for a full refund. Apparently I wasn't the first and I might not be the last with this issue.

Hey peeps, I just bought the game yesterday and after checking it out this morning I have to get my money back. Lichdom Battlemage which is a first person magic base shooter is broken. The frame rate is way below standard, graphics are choppy and muddy, excessively long load times, character designs are PS2 quality and that's being generous. Simply turning the character around makes things blurry as hell, and my eyes were damn near hurting. And it's a shame too because this game could be really good. The little bit I endured showed promise but the numerous problems makes this game unplayable, and apparently there are no patches coming for it. Save your money, don't buy this. If you did buy it and have not opened it. Don't. Take it back immediately.

Capcom claimed that there will be no multiple iterations for it. But can they really be trusted on that? I'm just mad there are still actually people out there defending a game that was released to us broken.

@giantstalker: I can relate to that. When I was in the military I definitely played far more games than I do now. I was running through about 3 titles weekly. I had so much time on my hands back then.

@jaime_ex: Oh yeah definitely. For one, outside of what I already own, I dropped fighting games completely simply because I don't have time to learn all of these different characters anymore. Plus I only have enough interest to play around 2-4 hours at best, and not even everyday. Too many things to do, and a whole lot of things I just like to do more than play games. Be 39 in August.
