This Nvidia Now shit is nuts to me. Nvidia shouldn't need any permissions from anyone. All they are doing is renting you one of their PCs and you're playing your shit on their PC. That's like me going to a gaming cafe/lan center, renting one of their PCs and publishers making me pay for my stream games again just to play shit I already paid for. "Publishers should get to choose where their games are available" Nvidia is getting no cut of any games purchased through their service, everything is still through whatever store the publisher went with. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills when I see people somehow having an issue with this service. If anything this service is driving more sales towards publishers as its making high end games available to people with low end systems who probably couldn't of run them prior to this service.

I’m still so confused why so much of the crew hamstrung themselves with duty when most of them have decent computers. None of these patching issues they are having are a thing on the PC. And with them eliminating the platform restriction it just seems silly. I could see maybe for party chat but the game itself has cross platform voice chat. If it’s the whole keyboard vs controller thing, controller retaining aim assist negates that for the most part.

I know it’s a thing on this site to dump on Battleborn but I honestly thought it was a better game than Overwatch. It simply suffered with very poor timing where everything about the game was compared to OW. Maybe it was because I had a group of friends to play with and didn’t rely on ransoms but the gameplay was just more interesting to me. I feel like if this game came out today it’s probably be viewed a bit differently with how poorly OW turned out as time went on.

The next mass effect? That’s easy, they even set themselves up for it in the post credits.

“Tell me another story about the Shepard.”

You even just open 4 with that scene and cut to the title card. That’s all I really want. I know there’s story stuff that makes that complicated but it could be a side story or something. If they had the right writers I’m sure they could figure something out.

Did they forget that Duty is cross play when they were trying to pair up there at the start?

@caboosemsg: I'm not sure if there's an official statement on it, I do remember them saying they were pleased with how it worked out in the Forsaken, but yeah there was a new one this week. It's the necklace missions (blanking on the name), this weeks being the melee powerful enemies in nightmare hunts. You do that and deliver it to Eris who then has a little in game scene with one of her fallen fireteam members. Seems like there will be one of these for each of her dead teammates.

That final week 1 cutscene with Eris and Ikora did imply this was just the start of the work towards the pyramid so who knows when the actual payoff will be but I assume it all results with a raid on the ship. My guess would be the final season of the year will be the conclusion to the pyramid storyline.

Brad got the impression that Shadowkeep is very short but its story isn't actually all out yet. It's carrying on the tradition from Forsaken where the story is slowly rolled out week after week. Without getting into spoilers, Eris has a quest for you to do weekly that results in a tiny chunk of lore and also progress towards a final goal. At the same time the Vex seasonal storyline is also rolling out weekly and is said to have world changing effects. You can already see this in the tower where Ikora has started building a foundation for a Vex gate.

Wait, if Brad was reviewing this, why was Jeff the one who forced himself to finish it early?

He's talked about this before in that with some games he just has to see it to the end for himself, for his own curiosity. He did the same with with Metal Gear Survive for example. He just desperately needed to see it to its conclusion.

So Vinny thinks all cell phones cost $1,000+ now? There's a plethora of $400-500 android phones that are really nice now. You just have to be willing to venture away from Samsung/Apple, both of which you're paying a premium for the name not necessarily the hardware.
