I laugh cause I know that most of the people demanding more rarely do more themselves. I've seen this too many times. Mistakes happen, they're human, move on if you're unhappy. Otherwise shut up and lets move forward.
hmm if that's the case, then that's kind of sexist. Ignoring that, because I understand why you would want an all woman podcast episode in 2020, that doesn't mean that the rest of the crew couldn't help and do the vetting and person gathering. Alex does that kind of stuff for E3 so it's everyone's fault in my eyes.
Yall wanna blame abby, but how come none of the other like 9 members of this site couldn't show up for what is essentially a glorified video call? No cross-coast to help your coworker out? Nothing?
I know it's not a huge deal, maybe, but it seems someone came up with the name and concept nine months ago, so unless that account is one of the GB crew, I would hope they receive credit at some point. Maybe they have and I just missed it, idk.
@charliejones: I feel your pain despite being fairly clueless about nutrition. It just feels like everyone substituted the word 'fat' for 'carbs' in the last few years as the big boogieman. If i look at a broccoli my gut tells me that i'm not looking at an especially harmful food to consume. At least, in moderation. Which should always be the case. Moderation is good.
That's exactly what's happening, actually. "Big Food" refers to the special interest groups who benefit by confusion in this case. Ad campaigns are constantly being run via tv, social media, etc pointing the finger at literally everything. Fructose is bad! No ALL SUGAR is bad! BUTTER IS BACK! etc etc.
They do this so that they can continue to sell you processed foods full of cheap filler sugar and fat, most of the fiber removed if there was any period. Ignorance is bliss, so as long as the average person can shrug and say idk and hit that mcdonalds or walmart fried chicken. They know that what they're eating can't be good for long term health but, well, ignorance is bliss.
Sorry to word vomit, it's just frustrating that all it takes is a diet high in fiber and low in processed foods to reduce risk for seven out of the US's TOP KILLERS, and yet Ben screams about the carbs in Oatly.
Man I wish ben knew the difference between simple and complex carbohydrates. Complex carbs aka fibrous foods feed the gut microbiome and your body. Ben should be more afraid of soda than say oats or broccoli.
Ben if you read this send me a message, I know a fair deal about human nutrition and the carb fud is getting aggravating.
