@Video_Game_King: Actually, there are two Fire Emblem characters, Medeus, and Doma from Fire Emblem Gaiden. But to answer your question, I talked to him about that a little while ago, and he will indeed have more Fire Emblem to show.

Ah, October, my favourite month of the year rolls by once again and with it comes tales of horror and mayhem. My good friend Mark "Fryguy 64" Kelly of Nintendo Database has launched his October art project once again, a monstrous task of drawing 31 Nintendo villains over the course of this month. He first did a mini version of this in 2008, sketching 11 Nintendo villains, who were among his favourites. For two years, this project was left idle, but last year Mark entered a great drawing kick, and turned to his community for suggestions on a roster of 31 characters. That year brought great villains like Nightmare from the Metroid series, Mad Piano from Super Mario 64, and some obscure characters like the Mountain Witch from Shin Onigashima.

This year has gotten off to a great start with Dry Bowser and the Banette evolution line from Pokemon leading the pack. I know that he will deliver all sorts of great characters this year, including characters from more recent titles like Xenoblade and Spirit Camera, and of course more characters from classic Nintendo. If you have any interest in Nintendo at all, I highly suggest checking out his gallery, he already has 44 pics up from 2008, 2011, and the beginnings of 2012, and there will be 29 more coming for the month is over.

In one final note, this year Mark is raising money for MS research. His sister is affected by the disease, and he is raising money so that someday she can live a better life beyond what she has. If you would like, you can make a donation here, but please don't feel pressured to do so, as this is all for fun and there is no obligation. Have fun with Nintober everyone!

I know this thread is super old, but if you're still interested I say absolutely try it. It really is a fun mix of Pokemon and strategic gameplay, and the game is just so good. I have over 50 hours logged into the game, and there are still a lot of campaigns I haven't even unlocked yet. This is real swansong of the DS in my opinion.

All I can say, is that if Nintendo producers are working on the game, you can be very sure that Super Mario Club will also be working to debug it. Nintendo is very hands on with games that NCL finances, and they will not allow any possibility of the game being ported over.

I don't think anyone has to worry about Bayo 2 getting an international release.

Last night I send Kamiya a tweet asking if Nintendo staff were working on Bayonetta 2, as it's extremely for them to work on games that NCL publishes. A few hours later, Kamiya confirmed it himself, Nintendo staff is indeed working on the game. Looks like this game will be exclusive to Nintendo, similar to Fatal Frame IV.

It certainly is exciting that they are working on something new. I loved the cast of Xenoblade, and I hope they can make something even better. However, I suspect we probably won't see this until the Nintendo Fall Conference of 2013 (assuming they have one).

So the other day, the good people at Serenes Forest released a translated version of Iwata Asks: Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem. Read it here, it's expertly translated, and really captures the feeling of the Iwata Asks style. They are also creating a patch for the game, and it should be released before the year is over.

A very good intro to the community. Hopefully this will build interest in the series.

@Pepsiman: I think I know the info that you're talking about. I can't read Japanese, so I couldn't make heads or tails of it, but if you're willing to work on it I would be most grateful for any light you can shed on it.
