I'm sure it's still generally remembered that Jeff and Ryan recently had two Lion cubs named after them, while i was listening to the final segment of GameScoop episode 220 I heard exactly the same story; Twin cubs born in a South African wildlife park named after other writers (Greg Miller and Daemon Hatfield).

This can not be a coincidence. Either the same emailer is double-dipping or there has been a copy cat and one of the stories is false but i struggle to accept that there are 4 lions named after games journalists.

Any character with an overbearing sexuality can be annoying regardless of orientation. Duke Nukem comes to mind particularly. 
 
But yes I'm always pleased to see gay characters in games especially the subtle ones like Captain De Santa from Red Dead Redemption.

I desperately need to remember this game's tile so I can go buy it - here's what I know:  
It was quick looked with Dave and Vinny. The game is an indie, turn based, space combat thing. I distinctly remember while playing Dave found that there were stow away toucans aboard the ship. They wondered if it would be best to eject them from the air lock but decided not to and the toucans gave them a treasure map. Later a deer-general type character attacked them. I vividly remember text describing the deer "licking his lips". 
This probably all sounds like some kind of fever dream but I'm certain someone will know - Thanks a bunch and God speed.

I enjoyed that she cleared up that you aren't literally pulling away from her.
