Think most of the obscure stuff I remember are obscure because they're terrible:

• Virtual Hydlide is a real treat of a game for the Saturn, and probably one of my favourite episodes of Broken Pixels:

• Untold Legends Dark Kingdom was a bizarre hack and slash PS3 launch game that was promptly forgotten. It also marked the last time anyone thought about Xfire, since I think this was the first time they have tried to put Xfire integration into a console game.
• I have no memory of Whizz other than that I owned it for the Saturn and didn't really play it.
• I stumbled across a PS1 game called Pet In TV a few years ago and that was a fun experience. It's some kind of tamagotchi like experience where you suggest what the pet should be doing rather than directly controlling them, and it turns out that makes for an incredibly frustrating experience!

I remember being totally amazed at being able to download Offspring midis on a 56k connection. I was young, but it still gives me nostalgia to hear a midi file to this day... Such a weird and time consuming concept but fascinating all the same!

I really should go pick up the first PSP God of War game. The demo was pretty damn impressive, I just never got round to buying the full game...
