I've been noticing as I get older that if I beat a game that I've been looking forward to I feel almost apathetic afterwards. Even if there is another game that I've wanted to play. Maybe I'm phasing out of games (it's only been 30+ years) or it's a symptom of my increasing depression and/or treatment for such.

The part I'm somewhat alerted by is that I have games that I really wanted to play but I can't seem to find the energy/mood to start them. I pre-ordered GOW Ragnarok as I absolutely adored the first one but I haven't started it.

Anyone else feel this way?

How is this still broken? Do I have to download everything and host my own plex server???? How much time are you going to waste on a bad idea Fandom? Please just let us use the old player until a miracle happens and your player works.

Between layoffs, breaking old videos (Some now actually play video but then error out) and general slowdown/stoppage of output (1 QL video in April according to the QL Show page) Fandom has done a great job of ruining this site. It's getting to the time where they have to put their money where their mouth is. Either shutter the site or actually invest in Giant Bomb, Hire more people and do SOMETHING with the website.

As much as I love and respect the 4 "cast" members (And I generally and genuinely do). I don't believe they can't carry this much further than they have.

So Fandom: Are you sabotaging this site on purpose or are you just mismanaging this website to Elon Musk levels of incompetence?

@monkeyking1969: Sure, Pictures are worth a thousand words right? Here is the normal position that they tell you to use.

And the position I'm using:

TLDR: I switched the lever paddles (L in R and vice versa) by accident and found they work a million times better.

I recently picked up a DS edge. It was expensive but I play too much Destiny 2 (I'm at just over a thousand hours on PS5 alone) and could mostly afford it. After some tinkering and testing I eventually settled on using the semicircle back Paddles as the others were too close to my natural holding position and I kept accidentally clicking them.

Fast forward a couple weeks and I wanted to tinker a bit more with the lever paddles. I accidentally put them in backwards (R in L socket and vice versa) and I don't think I'll ever go back.

Instead of the Paddles going perpendicular to the handles they go parallel. This is just beyond my fingers meaning with a slight movement I can click it without moving my finger like you would with the semicircle paddles.

Has anyone else tried this? Did they say you could do this and I'm an idiot? Hopefully someone else sees this and it makes using the controller better.

Does this mean Sony is making notes every time I reply with "Chonk if your Chorny"? I feel so naked now...

Isn't "Buy Curious" (a show where they play games that they or other people are curious about a game) Just a Quick Look with some multiplayer team games thrown in?

@cory1981940: I think now some are playing muted by default so it's playing but you can't see or hear it. It's a new feature in our Fandom Hell.

@rorie You just gave me a brain wave! I checked and it only seems to be effecting old premium series. The old free videos still work fine. Maybe it has something to do with the new player rollout?

A quick update: I've found using Firefox and Chrome that clearing the cache and cookies may work but only temporarily. I was able to watch 1 episode of Metal Gear Scanlon before the problem came back again.

Hate to bug you but is there any traction on this issue @rorie?
