The problem with that system is I'm usually asleep and cannot hit pause, so some sort of manual setting would definitely be appreciated. If possible, it would be nice to have an account-level toggle that told the site to not autoplay.

Just a thought, thanks for your response.

This is only tangentially related, but I'm going to ask here:

Is there a way to disable autoplay for videos? I usually throw on a video before bed, but I don't want GB to autoplay the whole time I'm sleeping. I normally fall asleep halway through a vid and then the computer goes to sleep after it finishes. Is it possible to set the site to not autoplay any content? If not, please look into this.

@jellybones: Do they actually refer to it as aioli? I'm pretty sure they refer to the spicy potato soft taco dressing as "chipotle sauce."

Aioli's too classy for a joint like taco bell.

Glad to see Team Green is also experiencing lighting flickering, meaning it's a JC3 issue and not an AMD driver issue. I just replaced my GTX 760 with an R9 390. The 390 is definitely superior, but both cards ran the game in a very playable state (35-40FPS for the 760 with some settings turned down, 70+ with just about all the bells and whistles on the 390). I have noticed that disabling the in-game vsync boosts performance significantly for either card.

For reference I am running:

i5 4670K (OC'd to 4.4GHz)
16GB DDR3 1600MHz
MSi R9 390
Samsung Evo 840 SSD

Hows' the map design? Advanced Warfare had some good ideas, but it was still a poor man's Titanfall in my book.

Went with CH Products' Fighterstick and Pro Throttle and I like them quite a bit thus far. CH Control Manager took a little research, but now I've got a setup which works well for me. I waited until I could swing both the game and a proper HOTAS setup at the same time, because I knew my enjoyment of the game hinged on using a stick.

I wasn't waiting for it to hit Steam, just waiting for my tax refund. It's just coincidence that the two coincided.

The game still features Frontier's launcher. At least it's unobtrusive (unlike, say, a U-Play game), but you really aren't missing anything if you have this in your library as a non-Steam game.

Well played Naughty Dog. Now if you'd just let me come in for the next 2-3 weeks to take you through the issues with storyline.

I'm not sure that's enough time to fix everything wrong with the plot. It's also time to eschew some of the game's tropes--what was charming in 2007 feels dated and lazy in 2011.
