Ys VIII has been amazing. Phil Koller's review on Polygon turned me on to the game. It's an exploration based action RPG. You get stranded on a gigantic island after your ship goes down. The main objective is to explore the island and search for survivors while harvesting materials. It mixes several genres and does it really well.

Arin Hanson and Ross O'Donovan of Game Grumps show off what you can do in this strange game. They basically call it Chivalry meets Rust. In The No Go Show, Vinny seemed befuddled at what you're supposed to do. What you're supposed to do is be incredibly silly, apparently.

Saw this live, good stuff. Stayed for Trio the Punch. That's an amazing yet awful game.

T'ai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger?

I forget who originally said this and in what context but it fits: "Don't cry because he's gone, smile because he was there." I've been watching Ryan Davis videos all day and can't stop smiling. The sadness you feel for his passing will subside, the joy you feel from his life will last forever.
