Second time I've come across a progress-breaking bug in Dead Rising 3. Had to restart chapter 5, now 7.

It's both a bit early yet with so many games releasing soon and also a vague definition for "next gen". Also, I haven't had the time, the money, or interest to play all of those games. Therefore, Shadow of Mordor wins pretty handily by being one of the most fun games I've ever played in any year, while clearly being hampered technologically in being shoehorned on to last gen consoles to the point where I wouldn't consider those releases to be the same game at all.

Rump fat. It doesn't exist on a standard polygonal model without extra effort put forth to simulate it.

Look. You could clearly see the Sausalito maker right there. Obviously Dan is a hoity-toity guy in general. The recipe seems legit.

Actually, I quite often fail to separate the yolk entirely properly when dealing with that many eggs, so can't blame him for that. That does *technically* make it slightly more healthy. Plus, he didn't use a crazy amount of cheese like I was expecting from some comments.

Microsoft of all companies has little reason to gimp PC gaming just yet. They might do surprisingly little to support the PC gaming market despite having a bizarre grip with DirectX, but PC gaming still mostly relies on a Microsoft OS for broad support. The games I've seen to date that are frame/resolution locked have seemed to be because of port work where minimal effort was put in. I'll also mention that due to the openness of the PC, various options are available to bypass that restriction anyway, even if it doesn't always result in an optimal experience.

I think very specifically regarding Bayonetta it was cringe-inducing to see the criticism of the character influence the review because the whole game is that character, just as the hyper-sexualized older Laura Croft was a part of what that series was since its inception. I guess I just give a pass to the odd game that makes it blatant. I may roll my eyes at the likes of such games and never play them, but the reason is mostly because the game itself doesn't intrigue me and not because I'm personally offended.

I really appreciate Arthur and he's one of my favorite persons, but it's one bizarre soapbox to stand on to call out that aspect of Bayonetta. But then, I've played neither the first nor second game, and part of the criticism was that it feels worse in the sequel, so I guess there's no way I can quite condemn the sentiment.

@mooseymcman:

"For what reason did you come to Giant Bomb?"

Gah, completely ruined! Guess that was too random...

Also, where's the review of Pikachu's Vacation? It doesn't even get a mention?

I was a Gamespot user when the whole "Gerstmanngate" thing happened and after witnessing the chaos that resulted from that, I was curious to know on what Jeff’s next adventure was going to be. He started a blog, followed his points videos and then he and Ryan made the Arrow Pointing Down podcast and that was the thing that hooked me from there. Then they started building a bomb.

Hmmm. Yup. That's my story too. And like I'm pretty sure I mentioned in another similar thread, despite being in the first group of people to sign up for the site I still couldn't get the username I initially wanted.

Or was it really for @mooseymcman?

I liked the movie enough as a kid. I could definitely see the differences you mention making it a much better movie for someone who's a kid no longer, and I'm pretty much universally disappointed by English dub actors - Pokemon of olde (and especially new) being no exception. And yep, tears bringing a dead Ash back to life was lame even back then (but I still for whatever reason got teary myself).

"It's against racism or something" is a strong moral lesson.

Can't wait for the review of the second movie, I guess? It's the only one I own even today on Digital Versatile Disc.

A style which is also a relic? I guess I would see a western developed game in that style differently because of its roots, but there's a basis for gameplay which, broad as it may be, is definable in my head.
