Started playing it today since it's on Game Pass. Came in with low expectations and did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The atmosphere is spot on and very much reminiscent of Bioshock and the newer Fallout games. I started playing it in Russian thought with subtitles because I heard the English VA is bad and I can understand quite a bit of Russian so that helps. In Russian, there were some moments which actually made me chuckle.

The only thing I didn't like was the weapon selection which seems to be tiny

So I'm going to call GB hypocrites since they chose to look into Atomic Heart which the Ukraine banned for apparently funding the Russian military invasion (unproven) but completely boycotted Hogwarts: Legacy. If you're going to be socially conscious, you can't cherry pick the issues

It's already out on Android. Been playing it for a while now. It's not bad for a mobile game

The specific trans people are exactly the sort of activists I mentioned earlier who have created this irrational panic because they just went with whatever twitter (or other social media) told them instead of approaching the situation with any sort of analysis, critical thinking, reason or logic. It's the Satanic panic of the modern day.

Not all of them are "activists" that are attacking the game

I don't even blame trans people for what happened around this game because I know there's different opinions even within that community. There's just some people who have very strong opinions and attack (or cancel) anyone who disagrees with them.

I don't agree with Rowling either but people should be free to choose what products they want to use without backlash.

I personally have not seen any death threats from any fans on the forums/communities that I have been to or taken part in. Anyone who does make death threats are lovers who need to get a life

That's pretty close to my thoughts about this whole situation If you look deep enough at any product, you will find something unethical in the process.

While you are right, GB isn't obligated to review it. I just wish more media outlets were more brave enough to stand up to the vocal minority bullies and just do it. I realise that there are risks involved
