I'm talking about those games that you play for like 10 minutes at max. and are just like OMG wtf did I just buy/rent. So bad and annoying that it pisses you off for the rest of the day.
Even from the stupid 3 in the title I should have know that it was going to suck. The promise of GTA with races sounded cool, but no. I rented it (thank god). The control was A W F U L. Just horrid. I played for like 10 min. and shut it off and took it back to the store. Piece of Shit
Okay so here's the thing. I LOVED GEARS OF WAR. I know I'm in the minority there, but everything IMO was perfect. I know it was really hard for the casual player to get into, but once you got into it it was EPIC. One of those easy to learn hard to master games, only it was hard to learn. Anyway I was really good at Gears. I had seriously, and I was just good, I knew all the techniques and had a pretty decent clan *group of friends lol*. So we played the shit out of the that then the alure of a sequel came. We all bought it and instantly played. We came out of it the next day all thinking the same thing. "This isn't the Gears I know, this game is shit, and I want my old Gears. Seriously I would have been satisfied with Gears 1.5. To this day my friend spencer's XBL motto is "Cliffy B wrecked my game". I know that sounds super fanboyish and super stuck up, but idc, this game just wasn't the same and the online lag ruined it for me. People always bitched about host and lag in the original. Well let me you in on a little secret. There's still host, and there is more lag now than in the original. Sorry I'm done Ranting.
Yeah I bought into the hype. I never had a virtual pet, what could be more awesome than a cute puppy. Only problem was it wasn't much of a game. Took it back to the store lol.
Two was AMAZING. Three was okay. And 4 was what broke the mold. I had bought all the previous games, but when this one came out I rented it, and hated the new style. It was still arcady but it just wasn't as fun. Wasn't shitty, but yeah not the same.
