A bummer finale to Tekken. They really used all their resources with 7 on the mostly forgettable story mode. Also why does not every character even get an "ending"?
Since no-one else has mentioned it, can you studiousness viewers view the video once more and confirm for me that the crew missed the Alisa Bosconovitch Tekken 6 ending?
This was based solely on their surprise and amusement of the existence of Alisa while watching her Tekken TAG 2 ending. However they should have already been aware of her because her debut was in Tekken 6. I believe that this stream started with Anna's ending, which alphabetically comes after Alisa.
Alisa and Lars don't have arcade endings, I guess because they're the focus of the Tekken Force style story mode.
I loved this, Tekken endings are so good. Please do the intros too! You could do them after the endings so you don't "spoil" anything. They're not really funny but they're sick.
Also, did I miss it or did no one mention the awesome use of the original OP-song in the last episode? That gave me chills!
Music use in general seems to roll off them, maybe they just don't take notes in the moment and then forget, or maybe they just don't find it as effective. Both the original OP playing and the final use of the Pillar Man theme when Cars emerges from the ground and slices JoJo's arm off made me mark out.
Loving this. I hope Tamoor or Eyepatch Wolf bring up the name changes that happen in the translation ince characters start being more specifically named after songs and artists, trying to piece together the A to B thought process for some of the less obvious changes can be fun. Also sometimes the band reference in the Japanese audio just completely goes over my head despite being audibly spoken, and I'm curious if some of them would slip by Jeff and Lucy too if one of the other hosts don't bring them up.
It would have been nice to hear about the adaptive triggers on this port since Capcom say that's a feature. I guess the fact that Jeff didn't bring it up tells us all we need to know.
The adaptive triggers are specifically for Nero's Exceed system and I would imagine Jeff never even touched anyone besides Vergil. All the outlets that have talked about it though hate it because it messes with the Exceed timing.
Decided to fuck around in Photoshop while watching this, Nintendo should really add this lovely pallet to Smash Bros to give this game the respect it deserves.
