WiiWare Joins XBLA Games On Amazon

Get it while it's hot.
It seems like only a couple of weeks ago (because it was) that Amazon.com started selling piecemeal voucher codes for Xbox Live Arcade titles. Buying a single game with real, honest American dollars feels a lot nicer than having to convert your money into newfangled weirdo Microsoft Points, especially because you always end up with surplus points left over and nothing to spend them on. Even better, Amazon has been discounting some games that remain full price on XBLA itself. Everybody wins!

This morning I noticed on Amazon's handy video game deals Twitter feed (@amazongames) that the site's first WiiWare title is now available for sale in the same fashion. It's World of Goo, and it's $14.99. That's one penny less than buying it on WiiWare! Mad savings, kid!

What a great trend. Anything that lets us circumvent the needlessly byzantine console-points-as-currency system is A-OK in my book.
