It's still Donkey Kong Bananza's world even with another destruction-based game, Battlefield 6, jumping up to number 3 this week. Battlefield 6 is only in beta, but everyone is hot on DICE's latest modern-military shooter. Oh, and yeah -- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is back at No. 2, which means Death Stranding 2: On the Beach dropped out of the top quarter of the chart.
In the meaty middle part of The Bomb 12, we get familiar hits that have been charting for a while -- although Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is holding on strong at No. 8. I just finished that game, and I think The Game Kitchen crushed it. For the fresh faces, we'll have to pop down to Heretic + Hexen at No. 10 and Mafia: The Old Country at No. 11. Heretic + Hexen is a Nightdive joint, which is obvious once you start playing and see just how great it looks and plays. Mafia, meanwhile, is one that I enjoyed despite its extremely linear nature. We'll see if that has any staying power next week.
