I played a little bit of Pokemon X, but that's my entire exposure to the series. If I pick Rowlet as my starter, for example, is it possible to find and capture Popplio and Litten in the world? OR are they just locked out? And if it's possible, is this a one in a million type occurrence? Sorry, but I just missed the Pokemon craze (I'm 35) but the demo and QL makes this feel like a fun, easygoing JRPG and exactly what I could use right now.

The only way to get the other starters is through trading. They won't show up in the wild.

I don't know if Sun/Moon does this, but at the end of X/Y, after beating the game, an NPC gives you another one of the starters.
