    PlayStation Home was a social games network where PSN users could play games and socialize. Home saw a refocus in Fall 2011 in North America and Europe that put more emphasis on games than social spaces.

    What does this do to benefit the gaming experience?  Is it essentially a visual client for an online party system?  Or is it more of a visual chat client that's extraneous and doesn't tie into the games as far as interface is concerned?  If it does tie in, will there be a menu equivalent I can enter without having to launch home?

    This is a social *game* like second life right? what you do here is * Interect  with other users*  ... so what i m trying to say is that  socialising with dudes too much will make you gay.

    Any bets to how long it takes for him to come back? I'm betting 24 hours.

    Back on-topic:
    I don't know how well those mini-games will play. I can imagine some people will find them interesting, though. If they had checkers, I would like to play someone once and a while. :P I think it's really cool they let you launch a game from Home, that's the most important feature in my opinion.

    I'm just glad that all new home options are apparently going to be integrated into the XMB interface as well, so no faffing around with avatars. Will be fun for a few days though I assume.

    I think this one of those things that you just have to actually play before you can effectively critque it so I think we should withhold judgement until it comes out, but the way its going its either perfect or complete crap.

    I have no idea who home is actually aim at. Is it te average PS user, kids, teenagers, emos, old people, the gamers girl friend, I dont know.

    It's neat and all but I still don't see me using it much beyond the initial "messing around with it" stage. Though who knows maybe I'll get totally hooked on it.

    My #1 concern at the moment is the potential nickel and diming for clothes and furniture.
