A location created to house and display various musical, combative, or sports events for spectators.
Boggly Woods is where the Great Tree is located, and also the home of Madame Flurrie.
The home and hideout of Bowser and his family. It is the final stage of the typical Mario story arc. Bowser's Castle also appears as a race track in all Mario Kart games and as a baseball stadium in the Mario Baseball series.
A large building constructed of stone, used as a defensive structure. They usually date from the Middle Ages.
A port where seagoing vessels can take on or discharge cargo.
Fahr Outpost is where Mario and his allies must go in order to use a cannon that will shoot them to the Moon.

A ship is a nautical vessel that carries passengers or freight. Ships that are treated as actual locations as opposed to objects.
The Moon (Latin: Luna) is Earth's only natural satellite and the fifth largest moon in the Solar System.
When trains aren't objects, they're usually locations. Famous train sequences include the subway ride in Final Fight, and the haunted train ride in Blood, which required you to sabotage the engine to get to the next level.
