Rex was a clone trooper captain during the Clone Wars.
A Clone Trooper named for his habit of repeating orders given by command. Once a member of the rookie group Domino Squad, he is now a member of the Bad Batch after spending time as a Separatist prisoner.

The Bad Batch's leader, with a specialty in tracking and using commando tactics. Along with the other members of the Bad Batch, he is one of the few Clones not affected by Order 66.
The rational, well-composed brains of the Bad Batch, with a specialty in upgrading weapons and technology and coming up with creative plans on the fly.
The muscle of the Bad Batch, with a fondness for fighting and explosives, if not also having a more child-like intellect and personality to go with it.
