There seems to be a decent amount of people that really enjoy Nioh, so this may not be a totally dumb idea but do you guys wanna pick a clan and see how much dominating we can do?

The big clans are so big as to be completely impenetrable, though you can move the small clans up and down the ranks I guess (+/- 5-10 or so).

PSA: Switching clans midweek reduces your rewards by 90%

But if I switched clans I would lose my 10% money bonus for Soul Matching and Reforging.

Most of those being bused are small enough where I don't think it really matters all that much. I picked one with close combat damage bonuses but mostly because of the icon.

Fair enough. I haven't selected a clan yet so it was just a thought.

I picked the clan that gives the person I'm helping reduced damage taken. I've always had fun helping people in games like this. To bad the magic I took to heal people seems to need them to stand in place and no one knows that so it's a waste so far.

Would have been so much better if you could create a clan.

Yeah I'm disappointed by the whole clan system, the ones at the top give such all around good bonuses compared to the niche bonuses most of the others give. Sucks they didn't see this being a problem, but then again all it's for is costumes and emotes and random rolls on items which seems a bit unnecessary. I guess it's a good way to respec.

I just finished the game earlier this evening and still havent picked a clan to join.

Hopefully it becomes a little more important in the sequel.

@dispossession: You should pick one if only for the bonus you get. Though that's assuming you have any intention to keep playing after beating it.

I'm sticking with Furuta because I'm all about that magic find to mitigate my horrible real life luck. Probably going to end up switching to the money gaining one when soul matching becomes a thing i want to do a lot of.
