Night Trap is getting remastered and re-released this year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The remaster of the live-action game — featuring FMV, or full-motion video — is set to release soon (spring in the United States and Europe).

I dont think this has anything to do with Sega. That said, I am not sure who wanted this, didnt that kickstarter fail the last time someone wanted to bring this back?

Also I stand by my statement that Double Switch was the superior game(still a pretty low bar).

Whoever footed the bill for this remaster should be keenly aware of how niche and novelty Night Trap is, ESPECIALLY in 2017.

Most of the populace doesn't know FMV games were a thing, and the young'uns would know even less WHY Night Trap was significant to vidjageym history.

In short: I'm predicting miniscule established demand from novelty, with very few new buyers out of curiosity.
