An Artificial Intelligence Construct is a synthetic technological creation that is a part of a bigger whole. The AI Construct can be a self aware computer or simply a grouping of technologies that come together to form one large being.
Bosses are enemies that fight you at the end of a level or at a significant point in the story.
A boss fight is a culminating challenge that pits the player against one or more enemies representing a greater threat and/or difficulty than those previously faced. These scenarios typically feature unique antagonists.
The Chozo are a race of bird people that exist in the Metroid universe. The series canon states that members of this race raised Samus Aran to become a strong warrior after she was orphaned.
A cyclops is any race of creature that is born with only one eye.
Games that feature enemies that were at one point unconscious in a sealed glass or metallic chamber (generally full of goo). Most of the time, the enemies break through the chamber to attack the player or are activated by an outside force.

A hostile artificial intelligence, or "rogue AI", is a synthetic being that has turned on its creators. Among the most famous rogue AIs from video games are SHODAN (System Shock) and GLaDOS (Portal).
Often the death of a boss results in the collapse or destruction of the building or lair that the fight occured in. In many cases there is no other action other than the boss's demise that is shown to trigger this destruction.
Regenerating health is a gameplay mechanic which automatically refills the players health bar after successfully escaping damage for a set amount of time. It is typically seen in RPGs and modern first/third-person shooters.
A style of action-adventure gameplay revolving around exploring a labyrinth with the necessity of locating new items and equipment to progress beyond otherwise impassable obstacles.
