Hey, not sure if anyone has already tried to set up a set room name for matches, but I went ahead and created "giantbomb" on PS4 if anyone wants to get some fights in. Mostly just testing the netcode and stuff at this point and getting ready to wrap up the review.

PS4 Chat Room Up: giantbomb
I've refreshed the room list a couple of times, but it ain't popping for me. I'm in Europe, so that might be why. Strangely enough, I've fought against a couple of fellas from Australia, so if there is in fact some kind of regional lock then it doesn't make a lick of sense.
I uploaded a picture of the top rooms available to me. Would be cool if someone in the US currently seeing this could compare it to their own. If none of these rooms are available, or a host of other ones are, that'd be one way to confirm the regional lock. (In theory)
It might also just take some time for a room to get "online" once you create it.
Edit: Nope, still nothing. And I can see rooms that are located in Australia, and what looks Taiwan. This is duuumb/weeeird.
Online is working surprisingly well. Some people have terrible connections which have caused bad latency.. but other than that, mostly acceptable! I'll hop in right now to work on my Outlaw Erron.
Edit: I'm getting a "The chat server is not available. Please try again later," message.
Edit: Opened up some ports... it's working now. Not sure if it was the ports or just the waiting, whatever.
@jeff: (Erron Black here) Me being in Portland, OR I felt No latency at all it seemed like. Not sure what it was like on your part but it's nice seeing that online can be that good.
awesome thanks @jeff
Today I will remember as the day I almost beat Jeff Getstmanns Sub-Zero with my Scorpion but alas dear reader it was not to be
@hypnotoadbrwowrowrow: I'm near Vancouver and yeah the few matches I had with Jeff seemed pretty good when it came to latency.
@do_the_manta_ray: The online features in MKX are region locked in the PS4 version. So if you're in Europe, you won't be able to play with anyone in the US (not even in private matches).
Out of practice w/fighting games and will have to put in some time but i look forward to getting #rekt by jeff and other duders.
@chaser324: Yeah, that really does seem to be the case. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I was unsure if that was true as I am able to match-make with people from Australia and parts of Asia. For clarification, my ping with either of those places are about 3 times that of USW in most games. So naturally, I'm a wee bit puzzled as to their understanding of what constitutes regions.
Was in there for a little bit and won some matches, but didn't feel good about it. I'm on east coast US and all the matches seemed to be pretty bad (especially my last two), it was nearly impossible to do anything resembling a combo.
I can't tell if it's my Internet or what, but I keep getting lag in my inputs. I feel like all I can do is single button combos if I want to pull anything off. It was better earlier today. I normally have a pretty solid internet connection so I dunno.I won some matches but that weird slow down effect really throws me off.
Edit:I'm east coast Btw.
@overnow: Yeah, idk, I've been having mostly lag free online experience.
