    Miyako is resident of Hanuda village in Japan. She is considered sacred because she is named after the villages previous god. She was the priest of the village, and the only one with sacred blood that prevents her from turning into a Shibito. She finds Howard Wright early in the game and often confides in him. She proves a great deal of help to Howard and the other survivors of an American TV  crew who found themselves in Hanuda village.
