I'm sad about that, but not shocked. Enjoyed Mirror's Edge despite the hate it seem to get from every direction.   
 
But I'll be happy with DICE working on Battlefield 3. 

Doubt its completely tossed, probably on the backburner while they pull members to work on other, hotter IPs. Mirrors Edge is a cool idea, but I can understand them wanting to have some money makers releasing so they don't run the risk of a bad fiscal year.

I loved the original.  It was really refreshing, really striking.  Not perfect, but I was excited at the proposition of a sequel.  But then a game like Army of Two gets a sequel....  great job, game industry.

I liked the first one and as a franchise it has/had huge potential. Hope it gets picked up again down the line.

Mediocre game does not get a sequel, the world has stopped turning, mass hysteria, dogs and cats living together etc etc.

WHAT THE HELL EA. I absolutely loved the first Mirror's Edge (even back when everyone bitched about it). When I heard there was going to be a sequel, I got hyped. They could fix the combat to make it flow better with the action, and give Faith new parkour moves as well. BUT NO. What a fuckin' bummer.

Mirrors Edge was in the same position as Assasins Creed 1. Some really good ideas, just not quite pulled off. I'd love to see that gameplay really working.

Fine by me if they can few games to get more workers on Battlefield 3. I want Battlefield 3 to be the best that it can be. I am hopeing for giant bomb 5 stars  and a gamespot 10 star editor's choice.

Yeah it had its flaws, but ones that I don't think would be difficult to fix. I definitely got immersed when you're in full flow and loved the style and the music. Was hoping for a sequel that would do what AC2 did for me and AC.

This news makes me pretty sad, I loved the first one and was looking forward to what cool new improvements would have been included in the sequel. 

I still have to play the first.

Makes me sad. Thought the first game was amazing. Loved the atmosphere of it.

good riddance, EA spent too much money a game that was even well thought out. 

Fixing all the issue people seem to have AND continuing the story (if possible with the small opening they left), this would be the game I would like to play. Achieving one of the two will result in a bad game.
