    Mini-Neckies are small vultures that have long been a common enemy in the Donkey Kong franchise.

    Overview

    Mini-Neckies are smaller versions of their counterparts, Neckies, and appear exclusively in the Donkey Kong franchise. Strangely, Mini-Necky has appeared in more games than the enemy it is based on.

    In Donkey Kong Country, Mini-Neckies remained in stationary positions and would spit coconuts at Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong.

    In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, they would swoop down to attack Diddy and Dixie Kong, and would have a polka-dot bandana wrapped around their foreheads to coincide with the game's pirate theme. A ghost version of Mini-Necky appears in a boss battle against Kreepy Krow in Gloomy Gulch.

    Mini-Neckies perform both their role of shooting coconuts and of swooping down to attack in DK: King of Swing and DK: Jungle Climber. They also make an appearance in Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast as items within green balloons.
