Overview
Mhairi was a knight in the kings army until she was recruited to join the ranks of the Grey Warden. When the Grey Warden Commander and her return to Vigil's Keep she reveals that she has not yet undergone the Grey Warden ritual -- The Joining. Soon they discover that the keep has been attacked and nearly destroyed by darkspawn. Later, once all of the remaining darkspawn have been vanquished she undergoes The Joining, however she does not survive it.
Raising Mhairi's approval meter
Despite her being a party member for such a brief period, she still has an approval meter than can be raised or lowered slightly through the few chances of dialogue the player engages with her. Gifts can be given to her as well, if the player has any to give from a Dragon Age: Origins save, as there are none found during her time when amidst the player's party.
