This probably won't come out - realize that they've just announced their intent to make a film - they haven't even started thinking of the Cast - Kojima just threw out names he would like to see in his film (although why the hell he thinks Mark "Marky-Mark" Wahlberg is a good choice is beyond me).
Almost certainly won't come out. If it does, it should be CGI.
He could use Asian Mark Wahlberg who plays Wei Shen in this Sleeping Dogs short
Either this will never come out or it will be bad. At best it will be stupid fun. But it won't be. It just won't be. I will eat this post if it is good.
I cant help but feel a MGS movie would be completely dumbed down trash. You pretty much have to remove or severely limit Kojima's absurdly long winded and borderline nonsensical writing. If you take that away what would you really be left with? How do you even consciously give background to half the organizations and people in a entertaining fashion that actually helps the film. Yea butchered out of necessity.
