    Meet MC Ballyhoo, the host of Mario Party 8. He loves to bring the party to Mario and his friends in the Star Carnival. During his appearance in the game, he provides the game's commentary like announcing the current scores, announcing the game's bonus stars, and more. His trusted sidekick Big Top is his co-host in the game. He has various things in his hat including candy, coins and more. Even though they're friends but they are always glad to be there when you go to the Star Carnival. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, they apppear as a trophy.
