I remember seeing the soup wallet video years ago when it came out, and I loved everyone's indignance at the state of it. I went searching for it but came up empty handed, and it makes me wonder - was it purposefully removed from the Internet? Was there some personal information in the video or something? Or has it just been lost to the annals of time?

Any help would be incredibly appreciated.

seems to have vanished a while ago. Which can only mean that Kessler is hiding a larger wallet

It may have been in an intern video, which i believe where on there own personal YouTube profiles. So maybe search Lemon's and bodega's accounts and see if you can find it.

I think the soup wallet video has left this world. All I can find was this and this, both of which are broken.

Pour one out for the soup wallet....into the soup wallet.

Man I see reference to the soup wallet on this site all the time but I've never seen the video. Or really know what it even is for that matter

@internetdotcom: well if Nick Robinson can't find it no one can

@mattimus_prime: basically Kessler's wallet was so shitty and busted that the guys ripped on it for like 7 minutes

The second link got into the wayback machine, but only the first few comments are readable, and obviously the video doesn't work. At least it's proof it wasn't a collective hallucination?

Er, the forum software doesn't consider it a valid link so you might have to copy and paste: http://web.archive.org/web/20111231064442/http://www.giantbomb.com/giant-bomb-mailbag-soupwallet-edition/17-4654/

@bdhurkett: The only valid explanation is that the Soup Wallet was such a crime against nature herself that the universe self-corrected, obliterating every trace of it from sane minds, leaving only the fragments captured by unfeeling machines and the ravings of us madmen to mark its passage.

Also, I forgot how much red that version of the site design had in it. Dave wanted those navbars to pop!

@mirado: I seem to remember Ryan was particularly disgusted by the Soup Wallet, maybe he scrubbed it from existence years ago

Yeah I just went on a quest to re-watch the majesty of the soup wallet after the Rive QL and couldn't find the video. Perhaps Giant Bomb Unarchived will stumble across a copy someday?

I'm here in 2017 cause Nick is on UPF and they're talking about the soup wallet again.

    Video is still gone.

    Shame.

@forteexe21: Dude good find. I'm glad that there's at least some video of the soup wallet left on the Internet. I do wish we could find that mailbag, though.
