Assassin's Creed II
At the start of the game Maria introduces her son Ezio to Leonardo Da Vinci, a friendship that would last for the rest of their lives. When Maria's husband, Giovanni, and her two other sons, Federico and Petruccio, were executed unjustly at the hands of the Templars, Maria and her daughter Claudia had to move to live with Mario Auditore Da Firenze, her brother-in-law. While Ezio hunted down their family's killers, Maria grieved in her room in Monteriggioni, she did not stop until Ezio found 100 eagle feathers, something that Petruccio collected before he died.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
After the attack on Monteriggioni, Maria moved with Claudia to Rome. When Claudia took charge of the Rosa in Fiore, a brothel used by the assassins to gather information, Maria stayed with her there for the duration of the game.
