Flurrie is an upper-class wind spirit who previously worked as an actress in theaters. She retired and moved to the soothing Boggly Woods and made friends in the Punies. When Mario first meets her, she is preparing to make a triumphant return to show business, but finds her famed necklace gone, which she requests Mario to find. After returning the necklace, Flurrie agrees to help out her friends, the Punies, and joins Mario's party. In the field, Flurrie can blow a gust of wind, stunning any nearby enemies and also revealing secret passage ways. In battle, Flurrie can use her wind powers to blow enemies away as well as body slam them, being the first partner able to attack ceiling enemies.
