    Koala is a member of the revolutionaries of the One Piece world. She was a former slave until she was freed by Fisher Tiger. She is the only human practitioner of Fishman Karate.

    At 8 years old Koala was a former slave to the Celestial Dragons before she was freed by Fisher Tiger during his attack on Mariejois. After the incident she sailed with the Sun Pirates lead by Fisher Tiger.

    During her time with Fisher Tiger she had the mindset of a slave, always having to cleaning, and never cry. Saying she doesn't want to die thinking the Sun Pirates are her master.

    Later Fisher Tiger dropped a gun into the sea to show her that they aren't like the celestial dragons. She then started crying for the first time in years. Then started treating the Sun Pirates more as friends and family than her masters.

    Age 14, 3 years after Fisher Tiger's death Koala joined the revolutionary army as assistant fishman karate instructor. Working along side Sabo.

    Age 23, Koala was on a mission in Dressrosa with Sabo, and Hack to stop the weapon trades in Dressrosa.
