    "Klay" Is a special substance Hoborg used to create the land of The NeverHood. This mystical substance is what is in the composure of all the living things in the Neverhood universe, similar to an atom. Klay is found in the worst most evil depths of space, where Klogg used to live before being killed by Klaymen, this is where Hoborg makes regular trips so that he can create things. Klay is also technicly created when I life-seed is thrown on the ground, creating a new being.
