    •  Kecleon's unique Color Swap ability allows it to change its type during battle. After being hit with a move from an opponent, Kecleon will change its type to that of the move used against it.
    • Unable to learn the move Camouflage despite its ability and character concept.
    • Its back sprites sport jagged fins on each shoulder blade, however these are absent in Ken Sugimori's concept art of this Pokemon.
