Kamen Rider Amazon is a member of the Japanese superhero team Kamen Riders. His true identity is Daisuke Yamamoto, a Japanese teen who was lost in the Amazon rainforest when young due to an airplane accident and grew up here, then travels back to Japan to fight a terrorist organization Gedon from Amazon.
Before returning to Japan, Daisuke takes an operation performed by a chief of an Amazon tribe. The chief uses the ancient Inka technology to power up Daisuke by turning him into a lizard mutant, which is Daisuke's rider form. Daisuke can change into his rider form when he wants, and granted strength far beyond humans. The GiGi Armlet attaches to his arm is the source of his life energy.
As a man grew up in the Amazon forest, Daisuke's fighting style is extremely brutal and savage. He usually tears enemies' arms apart, even bites enemies with his teeth. Unlike other riders finish their enemies with a jump kick, Kamen Rider Amazon usually uses a powerful hand chop to cut enemies' bodies.
