It's still a Japanese only title at present, but that may well change soon. Famitsu recently awarded the game - 8/8/9/9. They praised the feeling of the vastness of Space in the game, and described the game's story as "bigger than a hand-held RPG" . One critic likened the game to Star Blazer, and that game is highly inspired by Arthur C. Clark's (legend), "Childhood's End"
If the game continues too sell well, expect to hear something soon about a Western release, until then keep hoping. It sounds like a awesome game.
" Infinite space just came out in Japan but does anyone know if its coming out at all for the west? Thanks. "

A western release was just announced, along with an english trailer.
We dont have a hard date yet, but Spring 2010 is what we're looking at.
Also, Sands of Destruction's anime adaption just got lisenced by Funimation, almost guaranteeing that we'll get it in spring as advertised. The DS is as good as ever for RPGs.
