    Overview

Infinite Loop: Kojjou ga Miseta Yume (インフィニットループ~古城が見せた夢~) is an adventure game released by Nippon Ichi in Japan on February 24, 2008 for the PlayStation Portable. The game takes place in the fictional medieval kingdom of Rizenburg who's king has just died due to a horrifying plague. The protagonist, Prince William, is right about to be married and become the new king when an evil spirit visits his room and ends his life. Now he finds himself as a ghost that must haunt the various people that populate his castle where he can influence their actions by showing them visions in their dreams. Prince William must use his powers to stop several tragedies from befalling his kingdom while trying to solve the mystery behind his own death. If he fails to do so within 28 days he will loop back in time to the moment of his death and start his quest over again with the information he had gathered from his previous loop. While never getting a true sequel, Infinite Loop did receive a follow up in the form of a Disgaea spin-off called Disgaea Infinite in 2009 which used the same gameplay systems and a similar story setup.
