    Overview

Hungry Dinosaurs is a multiplayer puzzle game for the Super Famicom. It's loosely based on Reversi/Othello, in that one player has to place tiles on either side of a line of the opponent's tiles to "flip" them to their color.

Hungry Dinosaurs adds a twist to this by making both players walk around the grid in real-time as dinosaurs, who leave eggs (which are the game's equivalent of tiles) and can eat their opponents'. However, eating the opponent's eggs takes longer than walking through an empty tile, so players need to determine the best strategy to ensure they have more of the board covered when the time limit expires. The game can support up to four simultaneous players.

The game was developed and published by Magical Company (Mahou) in Japan as Harapeko Bakka before getting localized in Europe as Hungry Dinosaurs the following year.
