Hun leads the Purple Dragons street gang and is also a enforcer and sub-ordinate of The Shredder.

In the IDW comic continuity, Hun is an alias for Arnold Jones, who lives a double life as the father of Casey Jones and an enforcer to the Foot Clan and the Purple Dragons.

Peter Laird liked the character after seeing him in the 2003 TMNT cartoon that he added him to the official Mirage comic continuity.

In the 2012 reboot, released by Nickelodeon, Hun was modeled on Bruce Lee, this version is used in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Legends.
