The One Eyed Dragon. A general of the Sengoku period or "Warring States" period in Japan. Known for his distinct crescent helmet and for lacking his right eye.
An officer of the warlord Nobunaga Oda. He led a rebellion against his lord and had him assassinated. However, his coup attempt was quickly thwarted and he was defeated by the forces of Hideyoshi Toyotomi.
A warlord from Tosa who embodies the spirit of rebellion.
The leader of the Mori clan during the Warring States period of Japan. He allied with other warlords to fight the Oda clan.
An Azai clan lord from the Warring States era. He married Nobunaga Oda's sister Oichi, but when he took the side of the Asakura clan in an Oda-Asakura dispute, Nobunaga retaliated and destroyed the Azai.
Orochi is the antagonist of the Warriors Orochi series. He warped time and space, pulling warriors from ancient China and warring states era Japan together into one world in order to find worthy adversaries to fight.
A Hojo clan lord from the Warring States Era. He has appeared in games set during that period of Japanese history.
A warlord of feudal Japan. Though he led a powerful force, his army was caught in a surprise attack by supposedly inferior forces of Nobunaga Oda, and he was killed.
